But how shall I look? (a costume brainstorm)

Now that I'm officially on for the festival, I keep thinking about how I should pack.
I especially keep going back to the harsh survival conditions.
No food, no water. Over 100 degrees during the day. Under 40 at night.
Living without medical, police, or fire-fighter services.
Alkaline dust blowing over the man-made camps, eating away at metal, electronics, cracking skin...

I need to hard-core prepare for this intense week.

So first things first.

What am I going to wear so I can look fabulous??

Here are some looks from past Burns:

The fuzzy pink bike riders from Mars.
Otherwordly, cheerful, and quite naked.

 The relaxed modern Steam-Punk look.
Colors such as rust, copper, antique brass. A mix of Victorian and some military couture.
 The embrace-all global rainbow goddess.
All 7 chakras are aligned and she's ready to dance. Clothes 100% recycled, hand-made.
 The sunshine sweetheart.
Sipping tea at the make-shift art gallery never gave me such a hard-on.
 The seashell Vishnu.
Monochrmatic theme with lots of textures. Those big flowy pants look amazingly comfy.

 The all-weather adventurer.
Exposed midrift for summer days. Furs and hoods for cold nights. Notice the detail and piping.

'This IS our costume' couple.
Experiments with spray paint, I see.

And last but not least....the deranged porcupine.
Stilts for all appendages, spikes on pack, and a gas mask. The look definitely redefines the human profile and would make me do a double-take!

Stay tuned.
I have yet begun to sew.
